AISI 316L ROTARY LOBE PUMP
Our rotary lobe volumetric pumps are entirely machined on machine tools and made from 316 stainless steel according to the world standards for food, pharmaceutical and healthcare pumps. No contact between body and rotors and, consequently, possibility of transferring products from slightly viscous to semi-solid, in ideal conditions even for particularly shear-sensitive liquids.

Mechanical seals |
The standard type mechanical seals are mounted externally to the pump, constructed in such a way as to minimize the contact between the pumped product and the components of the seal itself. |
Safety valve |
Built into the front cover, the safety valve protects the pump, control and in-line equipment from overloads. All its components are isolated from the pumped product, with which they never come into contact. The safety valve operates for both directions of rotation. For washing and sanitizing, without having to dismantle it from the pump, the safety valve can be equipped with a lever for manual control or with a special pneumatic drive. |

Connections |
The pumps can be equipped with connections for all types of industry, in a wide range that includes the following standards: ISO/IDF (ISS), RJT, SMS, DIN, CLAMP, BSP, BSPT, API, NPT, ACME CONE, GC, DC, H-line and any type of flanging. For particularly viscous fluids, rectangular outlets are available for direct suction under the hopper |

Easy cleaning |
Our pumps are designed for in-line washing up to 95 °C and at a pressure of 2 bar or 3 bar depending on the model. With the pump stopped it is possible to carry out steam sterilizations up to 150 °C. For manual washing it is possible to intervene by opening the front cover without disconnecting the pump from the pipes. All surfaces, both internal and external, are finished with machine tools to meet the needs of the healthcare, pharmaceutical and food sectors.
High pressures |

Our pumps are available in three pressure ranges

Easy maintenance |
The rotating parts are assembled in a single unit, of easy and compact construction, easily replaceable. This solution reduces maintenance times and costs. To avoid any bending on the shafts, they offer an oversized diameter and are supported by robust ball bearings. The helical control gears ensure ease of synchronization and silence in operation.
Rotors type |
The pumps are equipped with three-lobe rotors as standard but to be able to handle a wide variety of products the pumps can be equipped with rotors with different shapes:

Heating jacket |
To maintain constant temperatures in the pump body, it can be provided with a jacket suitable for circulating a heating or cooling fluid. This solution can also be used only in the start-up phase to obtain acceptable viscosity conditions. The heating jackets are available with different fixing systems to the pump body.
Special suction connections |
To treat products with very high viscosity levels, pump bodies are built with a suction mouth, and sometimes also a delivery one, with an enlarged passage section. This solution reduces pressure losses to a minimum since the pump is mounted at 90° compared to the standard version, a direct passage from the loading hopper to the pump is obtained.
